Spar chain has started cooperation with Wolt - one of the leading platforms for ordering food on-line - to handle the delivery of purchases. This will be Spar's third sales channel - after stationary and e-shops. At the beginning, orders will be handled in Warsaw.
Along with the growing interest in transporting purchases from Spar shops through Wolt, the chain intends to implement further stages of the project - both delivery hours and assortment will be extended. The cooperation with Wolt and the new service will allow to deliver purchases even within 35 minutes from their order. At the beginning of the express delivery orders can be placed from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 6 pm. The cost of the service, regardless of the place of delivery, is fixed and amounts to PLN 9.99. The delivery area can be checked in the application or on the Wolt website.
Delivery from Spar shops to the house
Volt deliveries are made by bicycles, scooters and cars. Orders with express delivery can be placed either in the mobile app - available for download from Google Play or App Store - or on the Wolt website. Customers can take advantage of a wide range of products such as food, beverages and household goods available on the Spar network.
Once the order has been completed and confirmed, customers will pay for the selected products with their payment card with one click. The goods will be prepared by the shop's employees and delivered by the platform's couriers - products for orders will be carefully selected and stored in appropriate conditions. From the moment the order is placed, the courier will deliver the purchases to any place within the delivery area even in 35 minutes.
